CycAnalysis
allows
you to tailor your output from a CycDesigN
or CycXOver
session
into a form ready for analysis. It also gives you the option to generate either
GenStat or
SAS code for the analysis of the design you have chosen. CycAnalysis can either be accessed as a continuation of a CycDesigN or CycXOver session or run as a separate module. Treatments, blocking and plot factors can be renamed. Blocking factors can be expanded for running experiments where there may be a number of observations, or yields, to be collected on each plot. CycAnalysis can expand the spreadsheet to allow multiple, but equal, responses in each plot. For example, in a forestry trial, where there are three trees in each plot, it is often be more convenient to record the individual yields on each tree even though the analysis is carried out on the mean yield of the three trees. Thus, your Genstat or SAS code can be generated with the familiar terminology of the treatment and factors in your design. Note that Genstat or SAS code is only generated for major design types from CycDesigN (such as incomplete block, row-column, latinized, nested, factorial), and the additive and no-carry-over models in CycXOver . |
